…to a night out on the town!

I’m back with another look for transitioning your shorts into cooler temps and with this one, you get a two-fer! Leather shorts are one of a few super stylish, transitional wardrobe staples. They show enough skin to keep cool in the warmer temps, but are constructed of a material that’s key for cooler temps! the key to these looks, so get ready to shop your fav at the end of the post!

The key to these are the fit! You want to make sure they’re flattering, but not skin tight. I love a high waisted fit with a more relaxed leg. Its a classic look that’s going to give you the most comfort while still taking you from day to night.

For this daytime looks, I’m sporting my chocolate leather shorts with a graphic sweatshirt (hey St. Jude!) and structured wool blazer, all in fall-colored tones. To keep things feeling casual, I’m sporting classic white sneakers for a polished look while running all over town.

Its polished and chic, while still comfortable and effortless.

To make this look even smarter, to transition it to evening activities, I wore a satin, lace-lined camisole underneath the sweatshirt, so to transition the look, I just remove the sweatshirt and swap the sneakers for snakeskin boots!

You could keep your night shoes in a bag or in your car, along with your favorite lipstick, and you’d be good to go! I love how these two looks turned out (so don’t be surprised if you see me out in them often! LOL) Here’s some great leather (and faux leather) shorts options for you to integrate in to your own wardrobes! I can’t be the only set of legs out here stretching out thigh meat season!
