Crafts, Cocktails and Conversation: Episode 2
What do you get when you mix P. Valley and Black Magic? A delicious mix in your cup! Two of my favorite Memphians came to visit for Episode 2 of Crafts, Cocktails and Conversations with Carmeon Hamilton: Bertram Williams Jr. and Talibah Safiya Williams!
If you’re unfamiliar with these talents, Bertram is an actor (P-Valley), voice artist and community advocate with urban agriculture as his medium, while Talibah, his wife and fellow creative, is an independent Soul Artist and a captivating story teller (her newest project, Black Magic, is slated for a January 11th release).
They’re both amazingly talented creatives on their own accord, but they’re also co-founders of Mama Sundry, a social enterprise whose ethos is grounded in centering community-based wellness (mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical) practices, (social, economic, and environmental) sustainability, and mindful consumption behaviors.
We wanted a mix of fun and sustainability, so for this episode, we made a St. Nick Spritz and a Seasonal Potpourri.
Check it out!
After watching, jump back over to the blog; we will be sharing breakdowns of the cocktail, craft, and outfit for each episode so that you can recreate the fun on your own. Thanks so much for being here, and we hope you enjoy!
