A Night of Fun | Diner En Blanc

Diner En Blanc owes me nothing!

Friends, if you’ve never attended a Diner En Blanc experience, it’s a secret, posh picnic that’s been around since 2012 and held in close to 80 cities in 30 countries around the world. This year was Memphis’ 5th Edition (and my first time attending), and the night and people couldn’t have been more beautiful.

The premise behind Diner En Blanc is a unique but fun one. When you attend, you’re required to provide your own food, tables, chairs and tablecloths to take with you to the secret location, which can be a lot, but is also part of the excitement because of the creativity that you can bring to your table (within the event’s guidelines, of course).

The alternative is to use their preferred list of vendors and just rent everything through them, which will save you a LOT of time and allow you to just show up and enjoy yourself!

Another part of the fun is putting together your outfit. How creative can you be with an all white fit? I don’t own a ton of white but I was able to shop my closet and put together a look that I’d describe as “Breezy Simplicity”.

The Lewk:

Knit Bralette: GSTQ | Shirt: Solid & Striped | Shorts: Aritzia | Shoes: Hanifa | Bag: Ivory Closet | Sunnies: Celine

The newly renovated Tom Lee Park was the perfect setting for the festivities, and I’ll never be more grateful for the sunset view of the river that we experienced.

If you missed it….you missed a big one! Cuz boy we had a time!!!!

Did you attend Diner En Blanc this year?
