A Fall Oasis with Garnet Hill

I’m so excited about all the love you guys have shown our guest bedroom. I’m so proud of how it turned out and have snuck away in there a few times for a nap or two…or three! It was just a few weeks ago where I reminded you guys of how much I love Garnet Hill and their amazing assortment bedding, but if you saw the guest room transformation, you caught an entirely new look from them!

Garnet Hill is in constant rotation in our master bedroom, but I started eyeballing a lot of their bedding pieces in their Auburn and Baked Clay colorways over the past few weeks and knew that they would be perfect for the guest room

Now that we’re heading in to fall, not only was I thinking of warm colors, but also warm layers. No matter the style of the bed, I always incorporate the following items for a much more luxurious and designed look: fitted sheet, flat sheet, quilt, duvet/coverlet, throw, decorative or sleeping pillow sham. I love to create a mood board for my ideas to see how all of the pieces flow together.

I started with a soft and lux foundation with the Relaxed-Organic-Cotton Sateen Flat Sheet and Fitted Sheet. They’re incredibly soft and a great staple to have for guests who may be picky about their sleeping surfaces.

I then layered on the Isa Stonewashed Organic-Cotton Blanket in Baked Clay and incorporated the matching lumbar pillow. This blanket is one that you’ll want to pull off the bed and have with you in the living room or any other lounging space. It has the perfect weight and one you’ll want to buy over and over again to stop stealing from other rooms!

The final layer is a repeat from our bedroom. I’m so in love with the Relaxed Linen Quilt and Sham and it was perfect for adding additional layering without adding the bulk from a duvet. I decided to go with the color Oatmeal to coordinate with the natural linen color of the bed.

The Auburn Cotton Velvet Pillow and the Ivory Brushed Cotton Throw were the perfect pieces to ground and tie all of the patterns and tones together.

I mentioned this before, but I’ve claimed this space as my own little hide away spot when I need a break from the never ending duties that come with all of the hats I wear. The guys have quickly caught on to the fact that if I’m in there, I needed a those few minutes and they totally let me be. And thanks to Garnet Hill and their incredible bedding, it’s my favorite place curl up and just be.
