Ham House: Living Room
I showed a little sneak peak of this photo shoot a couple weeks ago on Instagram and now, I'm ready to show you the real thing!
But first, I have to highlight the new star of the room...the new rug! I love it! I'd been on the hunt for a rug for over a year, and while out running errands, decided to stop for a browse in Capel Rugs. They had lined the street with signs announcing a "HUGE" sale, so it was kind of hard not to drop in. Most of my time in the store was spent hoping, wishing and dreaming, until I stumbled across this 9'x11' indoor/outdoor beauty.
It's everything that I didn't know I wanted! 1. It's huge, which is a great fit for our huge sofa. 2. It's a flat weave, which is great because we already have wall to wall carpet. 3. Since it's indoor/outdoor, it can take a beating and clean up pretty easily. Win. Win. Win! And did I mention that I got it for less than $200? Holla! For a rug this size, you can't ask for anything better!
But on to the pictures...here you go!

There you have it. I happy with it, but it still has a ways to go. I want to tackle a couple projects like getting some paint on the walls, creating new art, finishing the drapes and add in a few things like another chair and maybe a pair of sconces. You never know with me...but keep coming back to see what I do next!
