I got back from Atlanta last night and thought I should put this post together after sooo many of you complimented me on my travel outfit! Here are a few tips I use to looked pulled together for air travel.

  1. Unless it’s the middle of summer, I always try to wear socks and shoes. There’s nothing worse that going through security barefoot! insert vomit emoji For the shoes, I go for something that’s easy and won’t take forever to slip on and off. Just a note, I rarely tie up my sneakers. I wear the laces loose enough to get off and own, but just tight enough to keep them from flopping off my feet!

  2. Even when needing to look pulled together, I always go for comfy. The easiest way to pull it off is by wearing all black. Quality black leggings or stretchy black jeans/jeggings are my go to bottoms. For tops, think turtlenecks or an oversized sweater. They look chic in every scenario.

  3. Top off your all black look with a statement coat! You guys remember my feelings about my camel coat. This thing is perfect for air travel. It’s not thick and bulky, so I can actually wear it on the plane with no discomfort. The camel color and over-sized fit makes it classic and perfect for finishing any look. You can also go for one in a bold color like hot pink or print, like plaid. Those in a longer, trench style always look best.

Lastly, you’ll need a great bag. You’re only as pulled together as the bag you’re carrying. I can’t live without my backpack and carry-on sized suitcase. Perfect for every trip, no matter how long you’re away from home!
