Personal Style Files: Suited for Summer

When the Summer season hits, it’s a given that white apparel will become prominent in your wardrobe, but have you ever thought of adding a white short suit into the mix?

We know we know, Summer is HOT, so why on earth would you want to add anything that calls for layers, but hear us out: a white short suit is a quintessential piece for your collection.

Perfect for both formal and informal events, you can repurpose the fit for so many different occasions. The key is to go for a silhouette that’s slightly relaxed and not too tight. If it’s too loose, you’ll only really be able to wear it in casual settings. Too tight-you risk looking like you work at a resort (which no one wants, lol).

I styled this look for an afternoon speaking engagement. The black and white pairing is classic, but instead of heels or sandals, I went with a pair of my favorite Nike Dunks for a pop of color and finished with my LOUIS VUITTON Neonoe BB for a more fresh and modern lewk.
