Elevating Pancake Sunday with Crate and Barrel

Adding Crate and Barrel to our home via the guest room was a dream (and a total hit with you guys), so when I had the opportunity to work with Crate and Barrel to take our #pancakesunday up a notch, I jumped at the chance to elevate our little Sunday brunch!

Per usual, I kept the menu pretty simple: pancakes with a mixed berry compote topping, scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, but decided to toss in a blueberry ricotta flatbread for a little razzle dazzle!

It’s funny how using really nice cookware and kitchen accessories, like CB’s speckled ceramic mixing bowls (sadly, no longer sold) can really change your attitude around being in the kitchen. Sometimes, cooking can feel like a chore, but being surrounded by and using beautiful things, can total create a mind shift and lead to more thoughtful and intentional experiences! That’s truly elevating the everyday!

I set the table for the three of us, breaking out the stemware for our orange juice and adding a runner for some visual interest.

Once everything finished cooking, I plated it all in bakeware dishes to be served family style.

Is it me, or do pretty kitchen wares make food taste better?
