Vesta Home Show: Accessory Shopping with Stash Home
Hey peeps! Happy Monday! I’m back with part 2 of my Vesta saga with Stash Home. Part 1 was all about the overall design plan. I picked out some amazing foundation pieces that will anchor the room and am so excited about how they came together. This go round is all about the finishing touches!
With such unique furniture pieces, I wanted the accessories to feel warm, layered and collected. The best way to add these feelings is to mix the old with the new. No one does this better than Stash Home!
First, they have one of the most extensive lighting selections you can imagine, including full Visual Comfort and Regina Andrew galleries in their Memphis location. And whatever you don’t see in stores, they can get for you! Looking for a Ralph Lauren chandelier? They can get it? Looking for a Kelly Wearstler desk lamp? They can get that too!
I wanted something over-sized, but simple and understated to go in my space. I found the perfect lamp with a clear cylinder base and white triangle shade with brass details. Totally ties together the brass details in a few of the furniture pieces in the space.
Each Stash is what I like to call a treasure trove. There’s always so much to choose from and you never know what you’re going to come across. Each store has these little accessory markets that are packed with the most unique finds. You can really loose yourself (and track of time) in them; I know I did while shopping for the office.
One thing a lot of people don’t realize about Stash is that they also have a plethora of vintage, one-of-a-kind items in all of their stores! My favorite: the rugs!
Their selections come from all over the world: Turkey, India, Morocco, etc, and it’s always changing. You should definitely grab what you can when you can, because once it’s gone, it’s gone! I snagged one that was perfect for the office. I can’t wait for you to see it!
Another Stash favorite is their art selection! They have almost any style you can think of and the quality is like that of a museum. Limited editions, signed prints, even one-of-a-kinds grace the walls of Stash stores. I have a lot of walls to fill at the Vesta house, so my shopping experience was more fun than it was stressful. I didn’t have to find that perfect piece, just a ton of great pieces; great, by the way, is an understatement!
I’m also a sucker for a good coffee table book and there’s no shortage of them here. They were all great sizes, so I pulled some for color and some for content. The office I’m creating is for an interior designer, so she needs all the inspiration.
Things like pillows, candles and small found objects really make a room feel lived in and are my favorite things to hunt for. A set of glass beads to lay over a bowl, a mini metal horse to sit on top of a stack of books, calligraphy brushes to group in a vase; items I like to call finishers. Stash has it all.
The next post will be the big reveal and I can’t wait to show you how all of these pieces came together in the space! In the meantime, get to your local Stash Home and shop all these amazing accessories!
