New Additions to the Master

So last week, I made an impromptu run to IKEA to hunt for a new chair for our master bedroom. I took you guys along for the trip in my instastories. What started as a little trip for a chair turned into a mini shopping spree...blowing my entire monthly allowance! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ But, I must admit, it was totally worth it!

This little corner of our master had been bare for over a year! The drapes  and hardware (currently on sale) at West Elm while were additions to the room a few months ago. It was time to finally give this spot some purpose.

IKEA had their cowhide rugs on sale last weekend for $99 (!!!!) so it was a no-brainer to pick one up. The chair, on the other hand, was new to me (never saw it before), but was also too great of a deal to pass up. I mean, $149 for a whole chair!?!?!? Done and done!

The Koarp chair comes in a few different colors and you can get the metal legs in black or white! I went for the Gunnard Beige with the black legs and I love the look. It's comfy too! The fabric is durable and has a bit of a linen texture (without the fuss of linen).

Once I got the legs secured, I brought in a little side tablelamp, accent pillow and tall plant baby as final touches (btw, the hanging plant is a fake!). The graphic drapes and texture of the chair and suede tassels combined have me falling in love with this room all over again. Do you have any favorite corners of your home? Do tell!
