My Weekend In Photos
Yesterday, I mentioned that I spent a couple days of last week in Chicago. So today, I'm back to share all my pretty pictures with you! Enjoy!
Heading into downtown
Nothing like carpooling with family.
My granny & Davin
Navy Peer
Who knows...
Granny & Roetha, who gets the grand prize for being the best tour guide ever!!!
Granny and Aunt Bobbie Jean hitting the streets
Davin felt better after he found Thomas the train!
He had a pretty good time.
Aunt Bobbie Jean chatting away
Table talk with my cousins Roetha...
Sharron...
and Debra.
Davin stopped in to say, Cheese!
He and Nate got to share a little game time while playing Baby Monkey on the iPad. (That game is so addicting!)
Even my dad found his way to the table.
This is my family's neighborhood...
And my family's house
The weather was perfect!
Later that evening, we headed back downtown.
Some of the most beautiful parks I've ever seen
Made a quick stop by Buckingham Fountain in Grant Park
Strolled on over to Millennium Park
Saw the Jay Pritzker Pavilion...
The Cloud Gate...
my reflection in the Cloud Gate
We ate at this tapas place on Halsted
Roasted eggplant with goat cheese, mozzarella and Parmesan covered in tomato basil sauce
Bacon-wrapped dates, stuffed with chorizo sausage (MY FAV!!!)
Curry chicken with saffron rice
O M G!!! It was sooo good!!!
Did a little shopping and got a good look at the Chicago Theatre
All in all, a wonderful trip!
Xoxo,
