My Go-To Makeup Products
I’m nowhere near a beauty blogger, but I get asked a lot about the things I put on my face. So while getting dolled up for an event, I went ahead and listed out some of my favorite makeup products, for both everyday and when I work with my MUA Matt Gossett.
I have the same routine no matter the occasion. If I’m headed somewhere fancy and doing it myself, I just throw on some lipstick to amp things up a bit. Just like my wardrobe, I like to keep things classy with a bit of edge and the occasional appearance of color every now and then; usually in the form of lipstick, because I don’t own eyeshadow.
You’d think that having the simplest of makeup routines would inspire me to invest my makeup. You’d be wrong. I’m a hybrid of drugstore makeup and beauty counters, like Ulta or Sephora. I like a mix of everything
When I’m working with Matt, however, the process is a little more detailed because he’s a Pro MUA. He also uses a mix of high-end and drugstore makeup, so it’s good to know that you can create a beautiful look for yourself regardless of your budget.
Without further ado, here’s a list of my go-to makeup products!
