One Room Challenge: Week 6: Reveal - ish

Hey guys! I cannot believe it’s been 6 weeks. I swear it feels like two! And unfortunately, if you’re new here… we didn’t quite make it to the finish line. This isn’t quite a reveal, so consider this Reveal 1A. There’s been more hiccups than I care to remember, from no-show labor to product mix ups and missed measurements. The emotional weight of this project has nearly taken me out, but here we are. Such are the realities of renovations.

In spite of it all, I can totally see my vision coming together. This has been a dream come true and I can’t believe that we’re thiiiis close to the finish line. But enough chatting, let’s get on to what things are looking like today.

Let’s start in the bedroom, shall we? We’ve managed to accomplish adding new french doors and hardware, new exterior lighting, recessed lighting, a new wood slat accent feature on the headboard wall, all new paint, switches and outlets. I even gave my shoe closet a little love with some paint and creativity.

Now, as far as the bathroom is concerned, we’re down to the details! There’s just so many of them!!!!

All of the tile is in and grouted, but there’s still a lot of touch ups and clean up needed. The new pocket doors with their gorgeous hardware are in. The vanity and plumbing has been roughed in, but nothing has been secured. The ceiling is being painted and electrical is happening…all as I type at this very moment. We still have to install the toilet, mirrors, light fixtures and shower trim! But even with all that still needs to happen, I couldn’t love this space more!
