Exploring 901: The Liquor Store
I've subconsciously set a goal for myself to "get out in Memphis more" this year. A couple weeks ago, my first stop of the year was the super cute Edge Alley. Up this week is the just as cute Liquor Store.
The
Liquor Store on Broad Ave is another fairly new foodie spot to Memphis.
Opening just a few months ago, this diner/bar concept has some heavy roots that lead back to Havana, Cuba.
The menu is filled with plenty of delicious artisan cocktails, lunch plates and entrees, but you might set your sights on their ALL DAY BREAKFAST menu! #brunchallday Also, I
have to mention that they have more than a few vegan options, if that's important to you.
I, of course, opted for the pancake platter with veggie sausage (btw, that sausage can fool the most sophisticated foodies...it's soooo good).
The decor is just perfection with the bar and tables being topped in pink and tropical foliage. And the banquettes are channel tufted with perfectly matching green vinyl.
The school house lights and woven chairs add the perfect touch to this little oasis.
And before you go, don't forget to grab a mug or tshirt to commemorate your visit!
